The Saga TF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Hodneland should have stopped the shot. Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Bredesen in the 9th minute of play. Edvin Hodneland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Bredesen in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Saga TF defense, Alf-Inge Hol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin Hodneland. The Saga TF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Hodneland should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Halvdan Osland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Edvin Hodneland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edvin Hodneland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjetil Hellevik in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Kjetil Hellevik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edvin Hodneland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvin Bredesen in the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Gædd FK's Edvin Bredesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Hodneland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 47th minute Halvdan Osland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Hodneland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

51 minutes into the match, Kjetil Hellevik notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland. Edvin Hodneland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edvin Hodneland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjetil Hellevik went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the game, Edvin Bredesen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Edvin Hodneland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjetil Hellevik in the 69th minute of play. Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Saga TF from getting a goal against them. Kjetil Hellevik succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 75th playminute. Saga TF's Edvin Hodneland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Bredesen in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Gædd FK booed when Saga TF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Garberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Bredesen came free, but Edvin Hodneland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Hodneland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kjetil Hellevik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 83 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halvdan Osland got free with Edvin Hodneland in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kjetil Hellevik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Hodneland came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gædd FK's Halvdan Osland. But to his dismay, Halvdan Osland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Edvin Hodneland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjetil Hellevik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Gædd FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Saga TF.
