In the 3rd minute Santo Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Frisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Olivos Futbol Club getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Edgardo Belmiro hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's Santo Lluterio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mario Orlanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Silvano Arnau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Lluterio in the 14th minute of play forced Olivos Futbol Club's goalkeeper Robustiano Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Tetra Pack FC's Maximo Frisco, in the 15th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tetra Pack FC. After a defensive mix-up in Olivos Futbol Club's zone, Maximo Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Nel came out of the goal and Maximo Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santo Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robustiano Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tetra Pack FC's Silvano Arnau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Tetra Pack FC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Tetra Pack FC's attentive Antonio Arnau managed to snatch the ball when Edgardo Belmiro made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Tomas Suarez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Andres Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Frisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Frisco in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Patrido in the 63rd minute of play forced Tetra Pack FC's goalkeeper Silvano Arnau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Tetra Pack FC's Maximo Frisco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Olivos Futbol Club's Edgardo Belmiro got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Mario Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olivos Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Orlanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvano Arnau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Suarez's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. After a rather tough play, Olivos Futbol Club's Edgardo Belmiro got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Tetra Pack FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Olivos Futbol Club from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
