La Scaloneta's Lolo Lorenzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Ortle in the 10th minute of play. Astor Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lolo Lorenzo having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Astor Mikeldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jeremias Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lolo Lorenzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Ortle in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Arroyito FC's Jeremias Ortle got a free kick in the 28th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Ildefonso Bastia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lolo Lorenzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 44 minutes of play, Arroyito FC's Jonathan Brais made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lolo Lorenzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jeremias Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guaberto Quinto to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Sebastian Fagondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Fagondo to maneuver through the defense.
