Ariel Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Chepe in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Ermegildo Frechoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Iigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 19 played minutes, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Damaso Tallia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ariel Iigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS reached it. 22 minutes into the game, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Bonifacio Chepe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Iigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Niceto Cordarell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS from getting a goal against them. Riverplatense CARP's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramon Berasko in the 32nd minute. The corner led Riverplatense CARP's Ramon Berasko to fire away a dangerous shot which Niceto Cordarell despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ariel Iigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Eustacio Balasi's late challenge caught a Riverplatense CARP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Osoro was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Enrique Mikelar got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Placido Opilano got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Victorio Berdaitz. Bonifacio Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ariel Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Riverplatense CARP got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Gudesteo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Frechoso got free with Ariel Iigo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Lino Txindoki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74th play minutes Ermegildo Frechoso shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Ariel Iigo and just under the crossbar into goal. 77 minutes into the match, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Osoro came free, but Niceto Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Niceto Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Txindoki in the 78th minute of play. In the 80thth minute of the game Lino Txindoki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Niceto Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Riverplatense CARP's goalkeeper Ariel Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Chepe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Txindoki in the 85th minute of play forced CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's goalkeeper Niceto Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Iigo made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Ermegildo Frechoso sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
