When Amador Hondo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machine Gun Kelly's protests and gave Amador Hondo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Hondo to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Carlos Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play Machine Gun Kelly's Amador Hondo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Amador Hondo got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Enzo Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carabata Groove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Esteban Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteban Arias hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Nemesio Acuña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Ihazintu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Nemesio Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Carabata Groove defense, Teodoro Ishmael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Ihazintu. The Carabata Groove fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Ihazintu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Acuña in the 40th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Nereo Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enzo Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 49th minute, Enzo Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Carabata Groove players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Machine Gun Kelly were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Acuña to make the kick off. If Rosendo Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Machine Gun Kelly made a substitution. Moises Venceslas replaced Nemesio Acuña. In the 64th minute, Teodoro Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Arias. When Fernando Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Carabata Groove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Cordero couldn't finish the play. If Moises Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anier Herena charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Herena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anier Herena hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Enzo Cruz struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Carolo Ruisko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carabata Groove. Carolo Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Rafael Efren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabata Groove's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Efren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Carabata Groove lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
