Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Chamaicó's Norberto Breogan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Pirro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Garate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Leandro Garate made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Pirro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leandro Garate came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Alijilán returns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Garate couldn't finish the play. If Leandro Garate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Iruinea in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alijilán returns's Rolando Olayo got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Jimeno Seme fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alijilán returns's protests and gave Jimeno Seme a yellow card for diving instead. Jimeno Seme hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Saul Iruinea sped through Chamaicó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Pirro. In the 39th minute, Jimeno Seme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Pirro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Iruinea in the 45th minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Roberto Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chamaicó's Juan Manuel Blanco got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Chamaicó's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Olayo came free, but Roberto Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jimeno Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Roberto Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the game, Leandro Garate cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Roberto Pirro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lino Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Breogan in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Jimeno Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Alijilán returns's Saul Iruinea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Pirro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Angel Leguizamón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Pirro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Leandro Garate made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Pirro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saul Iruinea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roberto Pirro came out and tried to block the shot, but Saul Iruinea slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 85th minute. Jimeno Salvidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Salvidor in the 92nd minute. The Alijilán returns players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
