Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Carabata Groove's Rafael Efren in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ciro Maura was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bora18 through an amazing save. Ciro Maura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Ciro Maura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute of the match, Carlos Arnas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciro Maura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 17th minute Luis Ponciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Ihazintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Luis Ponciano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carabata Groove's Nereo Ihazintu. Nereo Ihazintu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the game, Rafael Efren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carabata Groove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bora18 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carabata Groove's Rafael Efren got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Romulo Bertran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Maura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Taurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Fernando Cordero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jacinto Aurre came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bora18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Aurre couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Taurino kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Cruz got free with Ciro Maura in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nereo Ihazintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Javiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Fernando Cordero fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carabata Groove's protests and gave Fernando Cordero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Carabata Groove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Cordero to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Cordero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Aurre in the 47th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Nereo Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Ponciano to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Aurre hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Aurre in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Ihazintu saved Carabata Groove from getting behind. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Enzo Cruz hit a great ball. Ciro Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Arnas in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Cordero in the 74th minute of play forced Bora18's goalkeeper Ciro Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Romulo Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carabata Groove's Carlos Arnas in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bora18's goalie prevented a goal. Carlos Arnas scored 1-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Maura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
