With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Orlondon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd match minute, 1947 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Bonachea to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th match minute, Chamaicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Artal in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Norberto Breogan made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in 1947 FC's zone, Norberto Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Orlondon came out of the goal and Norberto Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Breogan might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Orlondon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Breogan ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Breogan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Norberto Breogan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Maria in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chamaicó's Edgardo Fertus got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Artal in the 78th minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Roberto Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Chamaicó getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Narciso Dimas hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Americo Artal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1947 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to 1947 FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nico Bonachea hit a great ball. When Norberto Breogan came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Chamaicó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Breogan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Norberto Breogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Breogan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, 1947 FC's Flavio Lixandro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Arnulfo Maria charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Maria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 1947 FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Arnulfo Maria hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chamaicó players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 1947 FC.
