Marcos Galo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amado Vedillo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Melchor Dimo scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Galo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Galo came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Honorato Federigo. But to his dismay, Honorato Federigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Marcos Galo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Vedillo in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Victorino Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Melchor Dimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Amado Vedillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Galo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Amado Vedillo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcos Galo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lomas de Zamora FC's Edgard Salvator got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcos Galo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Amado Vedillo. But to his dismay, Amado Vedillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 35th minute, Melchor Dimo made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Galo. Lomas de Zamora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. 38 minutes into the match, Amado Vedillo notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Lomas de Zamora FC's Marcos Galo. Marcos Galo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Honorato Federigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Honorato Federigo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Galo. Marcos Galo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amado Vedillo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Amado Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lomas de Zamora FC defense, Melchor Dimo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Galo. The Lomas de Zamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Galo should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Guanacos's Melchor Dimo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Galo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. In the 62nd minute, Victorino Rio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guanacos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Guanacos's Honorato Federigo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 66 minutes in the game, fortunately Marcos Galo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Dimo got free with Marcos Galo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Guanacos's Marcos Galo threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Rio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Lomas de Zamora FC defense, Amado Vedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Galo. The Lomas de Zamora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Galo should have stopped the shot. Celso Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Salvator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Amado Vedillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Galo. Amado Vedillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. The crowd rose to their feet as Guanacos's Melchor Dimo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Galo. That made the score 0-16 after 79 minutes of play. Lomas de Zamora FC's Marcos Galo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Dimo in the 82nd minute of play. Marcos Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Dimo in the 85th minute of the match. Marcos Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Lomas de Zamora FC's Marcos Galo got control of the ball when Melchor Dimo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Guanacos's Amado Vedillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Galo. Marcos Galo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Rio got free with Marcos Galo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Galo came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanacos's Melchor Dimo. But to his dismay, Melchor Dimo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. When the match was over Guanacos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lomas de Zamora FC throughout the match.
