In the 4th minute, Leonel Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Cosa Nostra's Francisco Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Vedillo in the 6th minute of play. Francisco Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Tebaldo got free with Francisco Berdoi in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Amado Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Rafe in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tobias Natal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Francisco Berdoi to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute, Genaro Tebaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Berdoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 33 minutes into the game, Guanacos's Amado Vedillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Berdoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Tobias Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Rafe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Rafe to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Tobias Natal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Berdoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Francisco Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Francisco Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Vedillo in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, La Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Rafe to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Berdoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hector Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Amado Vedillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Berdoi. La Cosa Nostra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Vedillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Francisco Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Federigo in the 71st minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's Francisco Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Federigo in the 73rd minute of play. Francisco Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Federigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Guanacos got a corner. La Cosa Nostra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Prospero Guzman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guaberto Chabier tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Francisco Berdoi. An unnecessary self made goal, 6-0 in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Tebaldo in the 84th minute of play forced La Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Francisco Berdoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. Guanacos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
