Domingo Jago charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingo Jago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Domingo Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Leonel Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Llorienzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The La Cosa Nostra fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when La Cosa Nostra's Hector Cordarell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hector Cordarells short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Mateo Llorienzo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Leonel Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cosa Nostra's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateo Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Cordarell. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Chabier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merengue FC's Jacinto Frascuelo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Cosa Nostra. Francisco Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Jago in the 39th minute of play. When Artemio Urritz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cosa Nostra's protests and gave Artemio Urritz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when La Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Jago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

58 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Cordarell came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Iker Rojelio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Berdoi, 1-1. Timoteo Luken charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timoteo Luken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Cosa Nostra's Timoteo Luken got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jacinto Frascuelo shot from long distance in the 66th minute, but Francisco Berdoi was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Artemio Urritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Llorienzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Urritz ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Urritz in the 74th minute of play. Leonel Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Larra kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Hector Cordarell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Llorienzo skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute, Dario Jerano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Frascuelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Francisco Berdoi made a huge save. 94 minutes into the game, Hector Cordarell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mateo Llorienzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The La Cosa Nostra players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
