Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Merengue FC from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Marko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Jago's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Sendoa in the 21st minute of play forced Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Guillermo Marko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Merengue FC got a corner. Forros Fantásticos AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Frascuelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Jago came free, but Guillermo Marko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Gustavo Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Ubendu in the 37th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Larra. Forros Fantásticos AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
