Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saul Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Nordby, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Virgiliu Van Dijk put in a rough tackle. Saul Mannuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Fernanco in the 30th minute of the match. Anselmo Milio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Fernanco in the 34th managed to get into a good position. In the 36th minute, Anselmo Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Otsando came free, but Saul Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Fernanco in the 44th minute of play forced Plaza Jewell's goalkeeper Saul Mannuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Pergamino reached it.

50 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Fernanco came free, but Saul Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Otsando's late challenge caught a Plaza Jewell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored Plaza Jewell's protests and gave Narciso Matro a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Deportivo Pergamino booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Pergamino's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
