Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) 6 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Barros came free, but Inocencio Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Barros fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Materos FC! Los Materos FC:s Inocencio Cesario showed great skill when he stopped Higinio Barros:s penalty. After some careless play in the Los Materos FC defense, Higinio Barros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inocencio Cesario. The Los Materos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inocencio Cesario should have stopped the shot. When Los Materos FC's Honorato Rayman in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute Los Materos FC were awarded a corner. Anselmo Belmiro went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 20th minute Honorato Rayman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Pepe Santoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorato Rayman's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Alberto Mendiko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pepe Santoro. Alberto Mendiko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Anselmo Belmiro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Honorato Rayman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Pepe Santoro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Vergaray was the one to do the kick off. Bartolo Gonzalez's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Gonzalez helped the player get up and apologised. Bartolo Gonzalez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Alejo Eleder from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Inocencio Cesario's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 61 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Solustiano came free, but Inocencio Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Mendiko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Santoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Barros in the 66th minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Vergaray had several of the Los Materos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Inocencio Cesario as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cosme Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Cesario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Barros. Inocencio Cesario was a little too slow when Higinio Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-4. The Los Materos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
