The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inocencio Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Serafo in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Rayman in the 4th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Albano Bemabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Otsando was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rejunte de perros's Marcos Otsando got a free kick in the 6th minute. Anselmo Belmiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Albano Bemabe made a huge save. Los Materos FC's Inocencio Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Serafo in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Epifanio Serafo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Epifanio Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Epifanio Serafo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Materos FC's Inocencio Cesario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blas Firme's late challenge caught a Los Materos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Firme helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Blas Firme. Melquiades Fagondo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Anselmo Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Materos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Belmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Bemabe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Aresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Albano Bemabe made a huge save. Albano Bemabe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Rayman in the 27th minute. Erasmo Aragones hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Rejunte de perros's Albano Bemabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Rayman in the 33rd minute of play. Agustin Aresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Albano Bemabe made a huge save. Inocencio Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Fagondo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Aresti got free with Albano Bemabe in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Rayman, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Anselmo Belmiro fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Materos FC's protests and gave Anselmo Belmiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Materos FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Anselmo Belmiro hit a great ball. Inocencio Cesario was a little too slow when Epifanio Serafo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. Albano Bemabe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Mendiko went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Fagondo during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Fagondo. After 63 minutes of play Los Materos FC's Anselmo Belmiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Los Materos FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anselmo Belmiro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Serafo in the 65th minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Epifanio Serafo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Epifanio Serafo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Inocencio Cesario. Epifanio Serafo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Los Materos FC's Inocencio Cesario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Los Materos FC from getting a goal against them. Inocencio Cesario was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Odilon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. In the 89th minute, Rejunte de perros's Epifanio Serafo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4.
