The supporters of Los Materos FC booed when Globalización was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Onbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Dalström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Inocencio Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Honorato Rayman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Quinito was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's Honorato Rayman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristian Quinito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee ignored Los Materos FC's protests and gave Evaristo Cresitobalo a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Rayman to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorato Rayman in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Quinito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 52 minutes into the game, Feliciano Urtun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Globalización's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Materos FC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Estebe in the 68th minute of play forced Los Materos FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Quinito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Mendiko's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Cristian Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Rayman in the 73rd minute of play. Inocencio Cesario made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Henry Dalström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Aresti in the 87th minute of play forced Globalización's goalkeeper Cristian Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Honorato Rayman sped through Globalización's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Quinito. After 92 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Danel. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Materos FC had won after a very even match.
