The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Alfredo Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Desiderio Lastur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín. Los Guacho Pistola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Lastur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Vimaro in the 27th minute of play forced C.A.P.J.'s goalkeeper Narciso Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ladislao Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Orlin in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Montel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Orlin's late challenge caught a C.A.P.J.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Orlin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Los Guacho Pistola getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leonardo Orlin hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Leonardo Orlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Guacho Pistola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eriberto Vimaro to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A.P.J. were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Los Guacho Pistola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredo Frederik took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Frederik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Desiderio Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.P.J.'s zone, Segundo Darien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Montel came out of the goal and Segundo Darien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Desiderio Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the C.A.P.J. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Lastur couldn't finish the play. Narciso Montel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Eriberto Vimaro sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Darien struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Narciso Montel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Guacho Pistola. Narciso Montel came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Guacho Pistola's Eriberto Vimaro. But to his dismay, Eriberto Vimaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. C.A.P.J.'s Narciso Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Darien in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Orlin got free with Narciso Montel in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Lluis in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Lluis in the 89th minute of play forced Los Guacho Pistola's goalkeeper Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Lluis took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín. Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 97 minutes into the match, Desiderio Lastur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo-Hernán Martín Callens Asín. Los Guacho Pistola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Lastur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Despite being the better team, Los Guacho Pistola failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
