The Los Materos FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Los Materos FC's Honorato Rayman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Narciso Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Narciso Montel was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Honorato Rayman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 39th minute of the match Anselmo Belmiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Montel skillfully saved the ball. Narciso Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.P.J.'s zone, Alberto Mendiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Montel came out of the goal and Alberto Mendiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Rayman was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Los Materos FC booed when C.A.P.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Anselmo Belmiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Montel skillfully saved the ball. Alfredo Frederik's late challenge caught a Los Materos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Frederik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, C.A.P.J. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Frederik to maneuver through the defense. The coaching staff of Los Materos FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eustaquio Padro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 96 played minutes Los Materos FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Padro.
