Stellenbosch's Bernardino Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Cisco in the 20th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Teodosio Bermund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinchera FC's Miguel Chorache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 顾帆宁 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Trinchera FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stellenbosch:s goal. Stellenbosch's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodolfo Innocenzio in the 25th minute. The corner led to Stellenbosch's Baldomiro Gaizko getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Trinchera FC's Miguel Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Vitin in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Bermund in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Chorache saved Trinchera FC from getting behind. After 34 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Nalo. In the 36th match minute, Stellenbosch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Emenon to maneuver through the defense. Trinchera FC's Miguel Chorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Trinchera FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Stellenbosch booed when Trinchera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryuji Laprise didn't get a good kick on the ball.
