The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Jakes got free with Robert Steffens in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Harri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Videl in the 22nd minute of the match. The shot was a little too simple and Robert Steffens could save by the left post. When Leon Jerrold came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Boca Jr. FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Jerrold couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Arnulfo Tancredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. JS 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Tancredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Harri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomero Jurgi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Videl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Ruben Harri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Boca Jr. FC's Baldomero Jurgi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Arnulfo Tancredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of JS 22 booed when Boca Jr. FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Gaspar Aurken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Harri. Boca Jr. FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Aurken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. The Boca Jr. FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JS 22 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
