Gaspar Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Leon Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Jr. FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Jerrold was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Harri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fabio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Jakes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Jakes in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Boca Jr. FC's goalkeeper Ruben Harri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Hitz. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Cecilio Seber took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ruben Harri to make any attempt to save it. Boca Jr. FC's Ruben Harri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Boca Jr. FC from getting a goal against them. Ruben Harri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Seber in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Seber in the 37th minute of play forced Boca Jr. FC's goalkeeper Ruben Harri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Jr. FC's zone, Lukasz Fafinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Harri came out of the goal and Lukasz Fafinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anier Canor fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Jr. FC's protests and gave Anier Canor a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Boca Jr. FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Canor. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Jerrold made a kick off. In the 61st minute Cecilio Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Harri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Club Atletico Fenix getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dé Siqueira hit a great ball. Leon Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fabio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca Jr. FC's Ruben Harri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Seber in the 67th minute of play. Fabio Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Damian Hitz sped through Boca Jr. FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ruben Harri. Victoriano Jakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Herauso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victoriano Jakes ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 played minutes Boca Jr. FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Rojelio. The audience was convinced that Damian Hitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Harri was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Damian Hitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Harri. Boca Jr. FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Hitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 90 minutes into the match, Boca Jr. FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Hitz came free, but Ruben Harri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukasz Fafinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Harri having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Club Atletico Fenix players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
