After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mónico Geller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hernan Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mónico Geller in the 6th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Hernan Goren kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 8th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Abar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mónico Geller in the 13th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Hernan Goren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mónico Geller in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a corner. BERMEJO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Silvio Guillelmus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvio Guillelmus made a great header on San Lorenzo de Sarandi's corner, it was just that BERMEJO's Hernan Goren managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Hernan Goren managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mónico Geller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hernan Goren made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Mónico Geller dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Agustin Orion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Auvinet in the 30th minute of the match. Agustin Orion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Varela in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo de Sarandi defense, Genaro Tebaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Orion. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Orion should have stopped the shot. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leo Acuña hit a great ball. Mónico Geller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernan Goren made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Mónico Geller sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin Lorien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genaro Tebaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Agustin Orion made a huge save. 52 minutes into the match, BERMEJO's goal looked a bit too open when Mónico Geller came free, but Hernan Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Lorenzo de Sarandi were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after BERMEJO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Silvio Guillelmus took the corner. The corner ended in Silvio Guillelmus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BERMEJO's Hernan Goren did a great save. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Paolo Gilen was substituted for Mónico Geller. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Andrés Silvera was substituted for Emanuel Palos. The throw-in from Conrado Vedillo in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Delmar Abar. Hernan Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Acuña in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Delmar Abar got a free kick in the 66th minute. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Agustin Orion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute Yves Auvinet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Orion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Gilen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrés Silvera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hernan Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Paolo Gilen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With his leg Agustin Orion managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when BERMEJO's Genaro Tebaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Agustin Orion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Lorien in the 82nd minute of the match. Jacinto Varela's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agustin Orion firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rogelio Senen made a great header on BERMEJO's corner, it was just that San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Agustin Orion managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to BERMEJO getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Javier Burutzagi hit a great ball. Hernan Goren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrés Silvera went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
