Mónico Geller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Benji Price when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Newpi Academy's Benji Price got control of the ball when Mónico Geller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Orion having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Benji Price had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mónico Geller. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Benji Price, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Victoriano Burutzagi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newpi Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Sarandi the free kick. After 30 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Burutzagi. Mónico Geller took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benji Price. Victoriano Burutzagi hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Mónico Geller lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Benji Price. After some careless play in the Newpi Academy defense, Mónico Geller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benji Price. The Newpi Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benji Price should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mónico Geller got free with Benji Price in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mónico Geller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benji Price stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Acuña's shot from short distance in the 51st minute.
