Oscar Loreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Lavalle in the 3rd minute. Artemio Lavalle scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Loreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Gallardeta's Oscar Loreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save La Gallardeta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Romelio in the 14th minute of play forced Peñaloza's goalkeeper Gustav Wallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Loreto was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Ruben Ostargi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruben Ostargi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Peñaloza's Gustav Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Bidun in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goalkeeper Oscar Loreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Peyo. In the 32nd minute, Ruben Ostargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Peyo got free with Oscar Loreto in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Nardo charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Nardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Nardo to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Ruben Ostargi lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Oscar Loreto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Peyo got free with Oscar Loreto in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, La Gallardeta's Oscar Loreto got control of the ball when Tobias Peyo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruben Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Loreto having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Peyo was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Loreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Peyo in the 53rd minute of play. Enzo Ostargi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. La Gallardeta's Oscar Loreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Ostargi in the 61st minute of play. Oscar Loreto came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peñaloza's Tobias Peyo. But to his dismay, Tobias Peyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Vladimiro Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Tobias Peyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Oscar Loreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobias Peyo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Loreto. Oscar Loreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Artemio Lavalle might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Loreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artemio Lavalle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Tobias Peyo made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Loreto. La Gallardeta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. The supporters of Peñaloza booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Artemio Lavalle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peñaloza's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Lavalle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Loreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peñaloza fully deserved thier win.
