Guansa's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Erlantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes, Serafino Ostots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guansa and the La Vuelta del Malon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Ostots. Krzysztof Hajduk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cornelio Asteri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Duarte in the 14th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Baristo made a kick off. When Isidoro Baristo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Guansa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Baristo couldn't finish the play. Krzysztof Hajduk scored 0-4 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Asteri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When La Vuelta del Malon's Stoyo Abazov in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Damian Hondo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Hondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of La Vuelta del Malon booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Asteri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Beltza in the 73rd minute. La Vuelta del Malon made a substitution. Terry Van Houdtvinck replaced Reynaldo Hanni. With his leg Cornelio Asteri managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when La Vuelta del Malon's Cristian Medina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute Krzysztof Hajduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, La Vuelta del Malon's Krzysztof Hajduk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cornelio Asteri. Cornelio Asteri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Cornelio Asteri was a little too slow when Stoyo Abazov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-8. La Vuelta del Malon made a substitution. Clodoveo Eutor replaced Nestor Beltza. When the match was over La Vuelta del Malon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guansa throughout the match.
