Fernan Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Hulberto in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Olds School Pepo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Hulberto came free, but Fernan Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Gaitan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Neron. Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Eloy Oskarbi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eloy Oskarbis short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Abel Neron to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Olds School Pepo's Fernan Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Hulberto in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Leandro Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olds School Pepo booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro López didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Neron was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alejandro Cortez. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 51st minute, Severiano Taurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marciano Koldobika during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marciano Koldobika hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jonatan Matia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel Neron. Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deportivo Balvanera's Candido Jakes was substituted for Severiano Taurino. Isaac Dayam kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Abel Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Olds School Pepo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jonatan Matia hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Cristobal Hulberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Cortez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Placido Cordarell. Fernan Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Cordarin in the 75th minute of play. Fernan Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Cordarin in the 76th minute of the match. Fernan Cortez came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López. But to his dismay, Lisandro López quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Olds School Pepo's Fernan Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Olds School Pepo from getting a goal against them. After 90 minutes of play, Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernan Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Balvanera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olds School Pepo.
