In the 7th minute, Deportivo Balvanera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnoldo Eneto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Arnoldo Eneto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cayetano Behe to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 13 minutes, Severiano Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Behe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Eneto in the 15th minute. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Balvanera from getting a goal against them. Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cayetano Behe stood somewhat misplaced when Martial Jay came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro López to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arnoldo Eneto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Cayetano Behe came out of the goal and Martial Jay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Ordono in the 97th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Desiderio Ordono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.
