Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Smash FC's Delmiro Damario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Damario in the 3rd minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Saturnino Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Delmiro Damario notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Academia Club's Saturnino Txartiko. Saturnino Txartiko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the game, Lisandro Odol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Smash FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Club the free kick. Paolo Urbasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carmelo Osmundo. Smash FC's Paolo Urbasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Smash FC from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Remigio Jerano made a precise shot to the right of Paolo Urbasa. Smash FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Remigio Jerano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Paolo Urbasa made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Froilan Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Urbasa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carmelo Osmundo. Humberto Kauldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remigio Jerano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Paolo Urbasa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Smash FC's Claude Caniggia got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Jerano to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Smash FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Gervaso. When Humberto Kauldi fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Club's protests and gave Humberto Kauldi a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Remigio Jerano made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Smash FC defense, Humberto Kauldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Urbasa. The Smash FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Urbasa should have stopped the shot. Bonifacio Mark's late challenge caught a Smash FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Mark helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the match, Smash FC's Lisandro Odol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 61st match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Feliz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Damario got free with Saturnino Txartiko in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute of the match, Isaias Gervaso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Saturnino Txartiko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Academia Club's Humberto Kauldi got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Kauldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Smash FC defense, Humberto Kauldi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Urbasa. The Smash FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Urbasa should have stopped the shot. Paolo Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Jerano in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Academia Club's Remigio Jerano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Urbasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Smash FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carmelo Osmundo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Academia Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Osmundo couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Humberto Kauldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Paolo Urbasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Humberto Kauldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Paolo Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Academia Club had won after a very even match.
