Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Guido Maties got the match started through his kick off. Waldir Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5thth minute of the game Pascual Lamberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armando Matia came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Gabriel Milito. But to his dismay, Gabriel Milito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Armando Matia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Lamberto went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Cordarrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Miami CF the free kick. Ciriaco Cordarrol hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Maties came free, but Waldir Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Lamberto in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Julio Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Juan Raúl Riquelme got a free kick in the 38th minute. Pascual Lamberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Matia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pascual Lamberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Matia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Lamberto's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half C. S. Peron y Belgrano were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Lamberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Waldir Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Johnson in the 52nd minute of play. Tobias Xacintu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pascual Lamberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Matia. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. When Pascual Lamberto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. S. Peron y Belgrano's protests and gave Pascual Lamberto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C. S. Peron y Belgrano getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Pascual Lamberto hit a great ball. Eulalio Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes C. S. Peron y Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Cordarrol. 71 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's Julio Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldir Araújo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter Miami CF's Armando Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Inter Miami CF from getting a goal against them. Gusmão Azeredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Armando Matia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gervasio Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Ciriaco Cordarrol seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ciriaco Cordarrol the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C. S. Peron y Belgrano protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ciriaco Cordarrol had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Julio Errando struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Waldir Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter Miami CF. The Inter Miami CF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing C. S. Peron y Belgrano to win.
