After 5 minutes, Octavio Ospetsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA DEL MONO and the PauoL & The Queen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavio Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. LA DEL MONO's Fabio Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Soin in the 12th minute of play. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Esteban Inko fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PauoL & The Queen's protests and gave Esteban Inko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Betinho Falcão fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eustacio Iratzeder, passed just outside the right post. Cecilio Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eustacio Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Betinho Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA DEL MONO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Txema to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Cecilio Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LA DEL MONO's Edelmiro Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Eguntsenti hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, PauoL & The Queen's Patricio Txema made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Betadur was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind PauoL & The Queen's goalkeeper Eustacio Iratzeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eustacio Iratzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th match minute, PauoL & The Queen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Inko to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eustacio Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Botello hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Arango during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LA DEL MONO players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
