After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jonatan Ralondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA DEL MONO's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Ralondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernado Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of LA DEL MONO booed when Pegale De Puntín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betinho Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernado Lima having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Gabon during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot 25 in the game by Venancio Cordearo from a close distance when the talented Fabio Betadur managed to make a qualified save. LA DEL MONO's players were relieved. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA DEL MONO's Jonatan Ralondo suffered a concussion after 29 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Niva during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Edelmiro Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Edelmiro Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 43 played minutes LA DEL MONO got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Gabon. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Cordearo in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Betadur saved LA DEL MONO from getting behind. Fernado Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Paskal in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venancio Cordearo made a kick off. Edgar Arango hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Baldomero Kinsen hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fernado Lima made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Edelmiro Paskal sent off a good shot on target. Pegale De Puntín's Fernado Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Pegale De Puntín from getting a goal against them. LA DEL MONO were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Pegale De Puntín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edelmiro Paskal took the corner. Fernado Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Falcão in the 71st minute of the match. Betinho Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severiano Rubio during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Severiano Rubio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Fernado Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Falcão in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, LA DEL MONO's Betinho Falcão ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernado Lima. Fernado Lima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. LA DEL MONO were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pegale De Puntín to leave the ground with a draw.
