Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Academia FC's Jorge Martxot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Academia FC's Angel Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Falcão in the 4th minute of play. Betinho Falcão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Angel Etxeberri made a huge save. 6 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goalkeeper Angel Etxeberri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Ralondo. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Federico Nicholas hit a great ball. Angel Etxeberri made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jonatan Ralondo sent off a good shot on target. Fausto Argider charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Argider the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Argider. Betinho Falcão took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Etxeberri. Angel Etxeberri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jonatan Ralondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Maximo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29thth minute of the game Betinho Falcão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia FC's Angel Etxeberri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Falcão in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Etxeberri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, LA DEL MONO's Betinho Falcão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Etxeberri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Falcão came free, but Angel Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Jonatan Ralondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA DEL MONO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Angel Etxeberri made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Jonatan Ralondo sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Betinho Falcão took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Angel Etxeberri to make any attempt to save it. Betinho Falcão struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Angel Etxeberri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA DEL MONO. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonatan Ralondo to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Betinho Falcão in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Etxeberri saved Academia FC from getting behind. Angel Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Ralondo in the 55th minute of the match. Betinho Falcão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Etxeberri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute LA DEL MONO were awarded a corner. Eugenio Truylos went to the cornerflag to take it. LA DEL MONO's Eugenio Truylos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel Etxeberri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Academia FC booed when LA DEL MONO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Layne Saron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Betadur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Betinho Falcão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angel Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 70th match minute, LA DEL MONO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Betinho Falcão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angel Etxeberri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute Betinho Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, LA DEL MONO's Betinho Falcão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Etxeberri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Angel Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betinho Falcão in the 93rd minute of play. LA DEL MONO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
