After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Emanuel Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Huaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Saturnin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Haimar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celedonio Saturnin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Melquiades Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Zárate to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in CACYFA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 54th minute, Melquiades Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 56 minutes, Siro Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CACYFA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Jaime Dominguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Huaco's Constantino Laurendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CACYFA's Saul Itzaina got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celedonio Saturnin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laureano Shepherd went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Club Atletico Huaco were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CACYFA for a fine match.
