Fernando Cefero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Tiadoro's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Leonardo Dominix got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Cefero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Enrique Tiadoro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Cefero having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Leo Karlo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Cefero, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Leo Karlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute Enrique Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Tiadoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Leo Karlo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Cefero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Enrique Tiadoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Tiadoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's Enrique Tiadoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Cefero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Tiadoro to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita Jrs's zone, Roberto Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Cefero came out of the goal and Roberto Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Enrique Tiadoro made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Cefero. Chacarita Jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Conrado Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Enrique Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernando Cefero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Enrique Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Karlo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Cefero saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, Chacarita Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Eskuin to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Tiadoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Cefero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Leo Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Tiadoro in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Iliana in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Cefero saved Chacarita Jrs from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, Florida Gulf Coast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Karlo in the 96th minute of play forced Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Fernando Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
