Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Chacarita Jrs's Aldo Ekain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Benicio Mundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aldo Ekain fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita Jrs's protests and gave Aldo Ekain a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Ekain hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Teodoro Gonzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Cefero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. CACYFA were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Chacarita Jrs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benicio Mundo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Benicio Mundo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Cefero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 22nd minute of the match, Aldo Ekain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Celedonio Saturnin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for CACYFA. Benicio Mundo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Cefero. 0-1. When CACYFA's Benicio Mundo in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Celedonio Saturnin was a little too slow when Aldo Ekain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Chacarita Jrs booed when CACYFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Menendo in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Mundo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Bonifacio Gartxot suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 51 minutes, Severino Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CACYFA and the Chacarita Jrs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Siro Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Cefero was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After 58 played minutes CACYFA got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Salvator. In the 60th minute, Benicio Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Casimiro Isidor charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Isidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CACYFA's Casimiro Isidor got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Teodoro Gonzo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chacarita Jrs's Angelo Ciano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Siro Menendo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fernando Cefero firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 72nd minute, Siro Menendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CACYFA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Fernando Cefero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Siro Menendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Fernando Cefero made a huge save. After having played for 92 minutes, Benicio Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CACYFA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Mundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CACYFA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
