The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Isaac Cresconio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mercado Paulista F.C's Angelo Romano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natalio Ralondo got free with Dalmacio Pedroso in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th match minute, Vamos Los Pibes!!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Inguma to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Alvaro Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Inguma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Rafael Cordeal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes, Victorio Dacio made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mercado Paulista F.C's Angelo Romano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Dalmacio Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Vamos Los Pibes!!!! from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Natalio Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Restu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Isaac Cresconio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Cordeal during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Vamos Los Pibes!!!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Dacio scored 0-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Romano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Vamos Los Pibes!!!! were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Ralondo to make the kick off. Victorio Dacio took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Romano. Angelo Romano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. If Leonides Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Rafael Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Dacio struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Angelo Romano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vamos Los Pibes!!!!. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Paolo Jerano got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paolo Jerano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Angelo Romano made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Victorio Dacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Rafael Cordeal made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Romano. Mercado Paulista F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Isaac Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Romano having to interfere. Mercado Paulista F.C's Angelo Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Dacio in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute Rafael Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
