Club Atletico Lanus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Eli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timoteo Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Pinto's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Timoteo Poncio made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Rodrigo Eli sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Cortez came free, but Timoteo Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Honorio Pinto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Espartillar's Timoteo Poncio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Real Espartillar's Timoteo Poncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Real Espartillar from getting a goal against them. Amadeo Cebo scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Poncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeo Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Timoteo Poncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Timoteo Poncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Cortez. Timoteo Poncio was a little too slow when Rodrigo Eli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Timoteo Poncio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Pinto. Timoteo Poncio came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Lanus's Honorio Pinto. But to his dismay, Honorio Pinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Lanus's Rodrigo Eli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Timoteo Poncio. That made the score 5-0 after 40 minutes of play. When Vladimiro Heriberto fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Lanus's protests and gave Vladimiro Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Rodrigo Eli hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Cordarrell to strike the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honorio Pinto in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timoteo Poncio saved Real Espartillar from getting behind. In the 55th match minute, Real Espartillar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Lon to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Pinto scored 6-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Poncio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Timoteo Poncio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Pinto in the 61st minute of play. Gervasio Santiago charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Santiago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Espartillar booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honorio Pinto in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timoteo Poncio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timoteo Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Sixto Cortez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Poncio was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Eli in the 86th minute of play forced Real Espartillar's goalkeeper Timoteo Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Poncio came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Lanus's Amadeo Cebo. But to his dismay, Amadeo Cebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. During the 91st minute of the match Gervasio Santiago completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gervasio Santiago a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gervasio Santiago hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sixto Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Club Atletico Lanus were the better team. Club Atletico Lanus's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
