El Bobo y El Bocho's Sandu Magherescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Brion in the 3rd minute of play. Nestor Valery was a little too slow when Maximo Aimar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Divorciados FC's Fernando Brion got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, El Bobo y El Bocho's Pedro Brun got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nestor Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cosme Mederi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divorciados FC's protests and gave Cosme Mederi a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Mederi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Ireno got free with Nestor Valery in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Ireno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nestor Valery made a huge save. Humberto Martxel made a great header on El Bobo y El Bocho's corner, it was just that Divorciados FC's Nestor Valery managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Aimar in the 32nd minute of play forced Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Nestor Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Bobo y El Bocho's zone, Fernando Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandu Magherescu came out of the goal and Fernando Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Fernando Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Magherescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Brion in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandu Magherescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Roderigo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Brion made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Fernando Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Magherescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rdth minute of the game Fernando Brion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Bobo y El Bocho's Sandu Magherescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 minutes El Bobo y El Bocho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernando Brion who took care of the corner kick. Divorciados FC's Fernando Brion was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sandu Magherescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. El Bobo y El Bocho's Sandu Magherescu couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Fernando Brion shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 54th minute, 1-1. Sandu Magherescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Brion in the 59th minute of play. Fernando Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sandu Magherescu managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Divorciados FC's Benito Ferdinand fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nestor Valery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Ireno's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Elias Ireno hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Benito Ferdinand might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandu Magherescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Ferdinand ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Divorciados FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
