Severino Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Elvio Pacifico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Celestiales. In the 18th match minute, CRIMINAL MAMBO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Mastantuono to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes CRIMINAL MAMBO got a freekick which was hit by Franco Mastantuono. Elvio Pacifico was a little too slow when Severino Gaskon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 25 played minutes Celestiales got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Donzel. Osvaldo Oier hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Severino Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Oier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Celestiales's zone, Osvaldo Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Beliran came out of the goal and Osvaldo Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Cristofor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celestiales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CRIMINAL MAMBO the free kick. Isaias Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Mastantuono in the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Gaskon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Foden got free with Isaias Beliran in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, CRIMINAL MAMBO's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Gaskon came free, but Elvio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CRIMINAL MAMBO's Amadeo Constancio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Elvio Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Celestiales booed when CRIMINAL MAMBO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Mastantuono didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Oier in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Beliran saved Celestiales from getting behind. Elvio Pacifico came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Celestiales's Albano Felipillo. But to his dismay, Albano Felipillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Franco Mastantuono fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRIMINAL MAMBO's protests and gave Franco Mastantuono a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 minutes, Severino Gaskon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celestiales and the CRIMINAL MAMBO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Rodolfo Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestiales's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
