Del Acuerdo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Q. T. I. the free kick. In the 24th minute, Del Acuerdo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Domingos Giraldo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ermegildo Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ilixo having to interfere. Miguel Ilixo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Pablo Perutxo sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Quexal made a kick off. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Nestor Chap sped through Del Acuerdo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Ilixo. In the 71st minute, Nestor Chap left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Q. T. I. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0.
