With a little luck, La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Ezequiel Centurión got control of the ball when Victoriano Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Vachon came free, but Octavio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, Ataol Zeyrek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Lauaxeta came out of the goal and Ataol Zeyrek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Dario Jorrin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Nanak Lider got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Aurelio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Simbo FC defense, Aurelio Vachon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Lauaxeta. The Simbo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Polo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Polo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Jurdan in the 61st minute of play forced La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Raymon made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Igor Polo. The crowd rose to their feet as La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Cosme Indartsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Octavio Lauaxeta. That made the score 0-2 after 93 minutes of play. In the 97th minute, Igor Polo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Simbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
