With a little luck, Jarana FC's Martinez Maravilha got control of the ball when Alonzo Rito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urko FC's Edelmiro Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Gitano in the 18th minute of play. Edelmiro Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Aurelio Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeledon Hermon during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Rito got free with Martinez Maravilha in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jarana FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Urko FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilfredo Gitano took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Wilfredo Gitano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edelmiro Haimar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 47th minute Jarana FC were awarded a corner. Wilfredo Gitano went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Rito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Bilos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Martinez Maravilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Alonzo Rito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jarana FC's Martinez Maravilha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Urko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Bilbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Rito came free, but Martinez Maravilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martinez Maravilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bilos in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Angelo Di María hit a great ball. Martinez Maravilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Guillelme in the 71st minute of play. After 74th play minutes Uriel Guillelme shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Martinez Maravilha and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Harriet in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Haimar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarana FC's Aurelio Harriet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Haimar. That made the score 2-1 after 86 minutes of play. The supporters of Jarana FC booed when Urko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Guillelme didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Urko FC had played much better football throughout.
