Naboonga OFF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Bernardino Frisco scored to the left of an out of position Ramsay Bolton, making the score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Naboonga OFF's zone, Narciso Corderro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramsay Bolton came out of the goal and Narciso Corderro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Aires hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Cornelio Nikola hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Narciso Corderro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ramsay Bolton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Txerran hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Frisco in the 31st minute of play forced Naboonga OFF's goalkeeper Ramsay Bolton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Cornelio Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Toli. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Valente in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Regis saved Atletico Saladillo FC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Damian Valente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Regis. Atletico Saladillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Valente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Isidoro Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Valente in the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Valente to make the kick off.
