Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudio Bucciarelli started the match with the kick off. Aurelio Astudillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cristo Cordara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Astigar in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Paulino Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Astudillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Claudio Bucciarelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Cordara was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Primitivo Orixe's late challenge caught a La Banda del Tinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Orixe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Banda del Tinto booed when San Lorenzo 11 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Baldomiro Inocente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After taking down the ball on La Banda del Tinto's corner Fidel Zárate fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aurelio Astudillo quite easily take care of the ball. Matías Godoy hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Claudio Bucciarelli who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Cristo Cordara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aurelio Astudillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bero in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Baldomiro Inocente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Astudillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Bero to strike the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Orixe got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filiberto Txurio. La Banda del Tinto were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after San Lorenzo 11's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Zárate took the corner. Matías Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Astudillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angel Quijada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 57 minute of play. In the 64th match minute, La Banda del Tinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikk Leks to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bero in the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paulino Bero's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Aurelio Astudillo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Paulino Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda del Tinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute La Banda del Tinto were awarded a corner. Fidel Zárate went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bero in the 86th minute of play forced San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Claudio Bucciarelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Cristo Cordara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Banda del Tinto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
