Spectators: 142 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudio Bucciarelli started the match with the kick off. After 17 played minutes San Lorenzo 11 got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Aragones. Cristo Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Bucciarelli in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Claudio Bucciarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Bucciarelli in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Cordara saved La Banda del Tinto from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Bucciarelli came free, but Cristo Cordara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda del Tinto's zone, Jairo Astigar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Cordara came out of the goal and Jairo Astigar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jairo Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Astigar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Claudio Bucciarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Cordara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Baldomiro Inocente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Banda del Tinto and the San Lorenzo 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gualterio Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Bucciarelli in the 44th minute of play forced La Banda del Tinto's goalkeeper Cristo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After having played for 53 minutes, Baldomiro Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Banda del Tinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Inocente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Inocente struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Aurelio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Banda del Tinto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo 11's Leandro-Atilio Romagnoli got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo 11's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Inocente came free, but Aurelio Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lázaro Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of La Banda del Tinto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo 11:s goal. Cristo Cordara went to the wrong direction when Claudio Bucciarelli was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Rolando Argi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Banda del Tinto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo 11 the free kick. A collision led to La Banda del Tinto getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rolando Argi hit a great ball. Claudio Bucciarelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. San Lorenzo 11 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
