Fleetwood Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Arnaldo Darien scored to the left of an out of position Baldomero Cayo, making the score, 5-0. Baldomero Cayo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Marlin FC's Ignacio Derwin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Cayo. That made the score 8-0 after 34 minutes of play. Geronimo Isadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Fleetwood Town booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Derwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Fleetwood Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Clementi to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Cayo having to interfere.

Fleetwood Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Derwin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. In the 79th minute, Robustiano Heriberto made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Cayo. Fleetwood Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. In the 85th minute, Domingo Jon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Cayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. 88 minutes into the match, Geronimo Isadore notched a goal, 17-0, to the right of Fleetwood Town's Baldomero Cayo. Baldomero Cayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fleetwood Town's Baldomero Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 93rd minute of play. Marlin FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
