Everardo Bortzaioriz was a little too slow when Fabian Frederik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. Alfonso Caradaro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Ivan Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Gentza got free with Everardo Bortzaioriz in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Fabian Frederik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATLETICO MENDOZA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Frederik in the 40th minute of play forced The Pontiac Bandit's goalkeeper Everardo Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pontiac Bandit's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Aquiles Guzman scored to the left of an out of position Everardo Bortzaioriz, making the score, 5-0. 44 minutes into the match, The Pontiac Bandit's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Guzman came free, but Everardo Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Fabian Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Frederik was the one to do the kick off. The Pontiac Bandit's Everardo Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Gentza in the 57th minute of play. There was no doubt that ATLETICO MENDOZA were the better team. ATLETICO MENDOZA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
