In the 16thth minute of the game Fabian Frederik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Hermon charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Hermon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when GangsTaz F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ivan Gentza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Natalio Basualdo, passed just outside the right post. 26 minutes into the game, GangsTaz F. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fabian Frederik managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO MENDOZA's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Frederik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Basualdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Bruno Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Urbano Claus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Terciero skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute, Nereo Chano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, GangsTaz F. C.'s Natalio Basualdo got control of the ball when Victorio Orlondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Frederik to make the kick off. If Vicente Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nemesio Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Dolfo in the 56th minute of play. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Garaile came free, but Natalio Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vicente Hermon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. In the 79th minute Paolo Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ivan Gentza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Basualdo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Natalio Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Ivan Gentza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Basualdo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Gentza in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Basualdo saved GangsTaz F. C. from getting behind. Ivan Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Natalio Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Aquiles Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Basualdo. GangsTaz F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
