Clemente Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the game, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Anacleto Kinsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Cordaryal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Anacleto Kinsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Clemente Cordaryal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Landaburu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Fonda in the 23rd minute. If Eugenio Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Kinsen in the 27th minute of play forced Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Clemente Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Anacleto Kinsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Cordaryal. Atlético Zelaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anacleto Kinsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 35 minutes into the game, Julio Gudesteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Clemente Cordaryal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute Anacleto Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Cordaryal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gudesteo came free, but Clemente Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Cordaryal came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Anacleto Kinsen. But to his dismay, Anacleto Kinsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The Atlético Zelaya players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético y Tiro Rqta were winning 0-6.

Atlético Zelaya's Emilio Fernado was substituted for Silvio Fonda. Atlético Zelaya made a substitution. Roman Acevedo replaced Paulino Hanni. 57 minutes into the game, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Anacleto Kinsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 66th minute, Atlético y Tiro Rqta's Anacleto Kinsen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clemente Cordaryal. Clemente Cordaryal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Anacleto Kinsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Cordaryal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Jeronimo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Atlético Zelaya's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gudesteo came free, but Clemente Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Zelaya's Jeronimo Herena got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Julio Gudesteo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clemente Cordaryal, passed just outside the right post. Clemente Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Atlético y Tiro Rqta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Zelaya.
