After a rather tough play, Furia Albiceleste's Robustiano Francesco got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Atlético Zelaya defense, Aquiles Jakobe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Cordaryal. The Atlético Zelaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Cordaryal should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Clemente Cordaryal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Atlético Zelaya defense, Higinio Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Cordaryal. The Atlético Zelaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Cordaryal should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Herrera in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Cordaryal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Cordaryal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Ladio in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Hernan Ladio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Cordaryal. Atlético Zelaya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Ladio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Clemente Cordaryal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Godoy in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Aquiles Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Cordaryal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Hernan Ladio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Alberto Chico's late challenge caught a Furia Albiceleste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Chico helped the player get up and apologised. Furia Albiceleste's Higinio Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Herena during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeronimo Herena hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Clemente Cordaryal came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Furia Albiceleste's Basilio Godoy. But to his dismay, Basilio Godoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Ladio in the 42nd minute of play forced Atlético Zelaya's goalkeeper Clemente Cordaryal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Furia Albiceleste could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Atlético Zelaya throughout the match.
